Torture of suspects not reason enough for acquittal, Constitutional court rules
Five judges, led by Oscar Kihika, alongside Margaret Tibulya, Moses Kazibwe Kawumi, Asa Mugenyi, and Musa Ssekaana, ruled that a previous legal anomaly favoured the accused while disregarding the interests of victims and complainants.
Court said acquittals can only result from a full trial in which evidence has been properly evaluated.

I don't know what the answers are but clearly public banking has serious problems, even in the prestigious branches that haven't had robberies or a history of client strikes. We need an urgent national convo on this.
CCTV tells you who robbed the bank, or if its actively monitored who is robbing the bank. It doesn't tell you the why, nor does it serve as a deterrent when someone is crazy/desperate enough to rob a bank.
CCTV is great but preventing bank robberies requires much more than CCTV
Niche banks have their clients leave on Friday afternoon and back on Sunday. Their laundry is done for them. They don't clean the branch, even their own areas. Their parents can visit any time day or night. They must call home daily, and some use video calls. Can publics do such?
