Joel Schumacher's death is such a huge loss. He was an influential queer filmmaker whose eye for aesthetics, was uniquely his own. Batman and Robin and The Lost Boys had a huge impact on queer kids who watched it and felt kinship in it's style and characters. This is a huge loss.
