Nabeel Arman, who went missing yesterday on February 25, from his office in Islamabad’s G-7, was safely released a while ago. Firsthand sources confirmed his release.

Nabeel Arman—a young Baloch graduate of NUML Islamabad, writer, translator, and a poet— was allegedly ‘illegally detained’ by security personnel today, Feb 25, from his office in G-7. BSC Islamabad issued a statement confirming the incident and demanding his immediate release.

To add, Nabeel was active in climate change activities, who participated in several events and was working with climate change groups in Islamabad.

QUETTA: Nabeel Arman, an English Literature graduate from National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and a former member of the Baloch Students Council Islamabad (hereinafter referred to as BSC-I), has been illegally detained by the security personnel from the G-7 area

In a statement issued on social media, BSC-I said that such acts resembled inhume treatment which “won’t keep us silent to the injustices”. They vowed to keep raising their voices for the recovery of the Baloch student, Nabeel Arman.
