So apparently telling my wife that I'd "Sell our first born child for a Switch 2" is now taboo, and I'm sleeping in the doghouse for a few days...

@JShodanVR It's because we're all fucking Broke, brother.

@VioletConure Hot take but... People who claim to not like Pineapple on Pizza are more often than not just trying to get a rise out of other people

Rare non-gaming post.

Goes without saying, but violence due to political differences is absolutely condemnable.

If you celebrate death, unfollow me and also screw you. Sincerely.

@expedition33 Maybe I'm looking too far into it, but it almost seems like a "Les Misérables" quote...

@METAPCs Make me

@GPrime85 Based on the Videos I've seen, it looks phenomenal.

Hoping to pick it up next paycheck, so long as we can fit it in our budget

25 years after its original PlayStation 1 release, Breath of Fire IV finally returns, available right now on GOG, thanks to YOU: the incredible fans who championed this legendary JRPG on the GOG Dreamlist 💜

👉 https://t.co/G8gcF0xNkJ

We couldn’t be more excited. This wouldn’t have happened without the support of over 22,000 passionate Dreamlist voters and the fantastic team at @CapcomUSA_, who trusted us to bring you this masterpiece in its very best form.

That "very best form" is a reality through the GOG Preservation Program. Our release is fully optimized for modern PCs, with Windows 10 & 11 support, both English and Japanese localizations, upgraded DirectX rendering, new display options (Windowed Mode, V-Sync, Anti-Aliasing, refined gamma correction), and a reworked audio engine (with restored missing environmental sounds & added new sound configuration options).

This JRPG classic is now made to live forever 💿

And the great news doesn’t stop there! Eight more iconic classics join the GOG Preservation Program alongside Breath of Fire IV. All over 20 years old, and each a milestone in PC gaming:

Ultima Underworld I+II & Ultima 9: Ascension (completing the Ultima series in the Program)
Worms Armageddon
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood
Realms of the Haunting
Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon
Stonekeep

Find them all here: https://t.co/jHU3V3djaX

Every one of these games helped shape PC gaming history. Now, we’re making sure they’ll inspire new generations for years to come.

Back to Breath of Fire IV: Over the next few days, we’ll be celebrating its release and 25th anniversary. Watch for more posts as we share stories, memories, behind-the-scenes insights, and more! Join us as we honor the power of the GOG Dreamlist and the community that made this possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey. With your passion, amazing partners like @CapcomUSA_, and the dedication of the GOG community, we’re proving that classic games don’t have to be lost to time. Let’s keep making games live forever together!

So my stream friends are deciding what I should do when I reach 700 followers on Twitch. The debate so far is between eating Natto (?) and a Tarantula.

Until today I haven't heard of Natto, but I'd likely prefer it over eating bugs/arachnids!

@MattWorley1 @Nekatus @survivetheark @SnailGamesUSA I haven't gone back to ASE myself. I've abandoned the game entirely at this point. Snail Games has a TERRIBLE track record (See Last Oasis for one example), and Wildcard has unfortunately suffered under their thumb, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

@Faren70256031 @Nekatus @survivetheark @SnailGamesUSA "But Gamer, ASA wasn't meant for the POORS, Only those who can afford the newest tech (Which by the way, only performs SLIGHTLY better for ASA)!"

@StreamElements OVER 23... ELDERLY... BRO I'M 35, THAT'S NOT ELDERLY 😭😭😭

[TheBardicNick @TheBardicNick]

@Rainbow6Game Can't wait to be disruptive because your random teammate decides to walk in front of you as you are shooting, and refuse to hit that forgive button.

It should be reversed, don't count the TK unless they hit the button, not the other way around.

@SonyAlpha Can I get a free compliment?
