Explained to another co worker who wants to play some Wight-Box and only has some cursory experience with Pathfinder the concept of 1:1 time. His response?
"That sounds awesome."
Touching grass for months is so much better than discussing these ideas online with people.
Wight-Box by @TheBasicExpert1 Look at all the wholesome and high quality components, was packed very well, the box corners arrived all intact. Kids are excited. Top notch quality-wise and well packed with care, one of the best backer printed box sets ever. Happy birthday to me
@AlchemicRaker@AeresChronicles "we need to balance." "nobody has all the truth."
Ideas like this are "nuetral" but will always benefit Choas more than Law imo.
I think you can make what we have described work very easily with what 0e gives. Its just some slight tweaking. Anderson riffs on this idea in 3 hearts and 3 lions. Holger is thinking about how the forces of chaos are repelled by the sign of the cross, holy relics, and ao forth. They are ultimately weak and easy to beat. The only way the forces of chaos can "beat" you is because deep down, you want them to. So you surrender your defenses to chaos and let it win. Therefore chaos always needs people who know better but still ally themselves with it.
@AeresChronicles@AlchemicRaker Nuetrality being a stupid and niave position that unwittingly gives chaos and evil a foothold does have some cool themes to riff on i think.
Anderson also lacks neutrality. At least in 3 hearts and 3 lions.
I think for 3 point to work in a Christian worldview, neutrality, if used, has to be viewed as a useful idiot position of Chaos from both law and chaos perspectives.
Chaos cannot be ontological. It has to be a depravation of law and goodness and order. Once it is ontological and not a depravation, its a dualistic dyad/dualism. Which is fine for a fantasy setting but ultimately runs into philosophical problems and nihilism if you think about it long enough.
This is an awesome little set by @TheBasicExpert1!
I can't believe people gave him so much grief over the distributer's delays.
He was open and honest the whole time and has a reputation for delivering quality products.
Totally worth the wait and a million times faster delivery than most of the big brands...
