@Zainh156@AVFCStatto We’ll see… U can use many examples (in either direction). Every negotiation is a different world: how much the player pushes, how willing the selling club is to help a player who has given everything for them, players the buying club might include in the deal, financial issues..
Forcing rivalries and acting tough is pretty pathetic. Nobody has disrespected Villa; people are just reporting information (Arsenal want to buy, Rogers would like to leave, Villa could be willing to sell). Grow up and accept it (and don’t cry when comes back your way).
Are there really that many stupid fans? Anyone with half a brain and who reads reports (Goldberg i.e) knows that Rogers would be very open to joining. Add Villa’s financial issues and the obvious step up in quality. Is it really that hard not to make a fool of yourselves?
Aston Villa are open to discussions over Morgan Rogers for around £150m this summer! 💰

@WillGenchy@JayVtid Importance to the team it’s probably something along the lines of Kamara, McGinn and Pau, most talented you’d probably say Kamara, Tielemans and Rogers
🚨Arsenal will need to pay £150m plus add-ons if they are to bring Morgan Rogers to the Emirates. The winger remains happy at Aston Villa. #AVFC#AFC#Transfers
@EBL2017 And by the third run in the 25th minute, Darwin is already gassed… Viñas is the best Uruguayan striker right now without a doubt, and for that you don’t need to take into account that his teammates in Spain are bad. One of the few things Bielsa has done right…
@houdaafc The problem is that he has to be an 8 attacking, and he can’t be an 8 defending in a 2 pivot. He has several weaknesses to be elite, but his profile is unique. He’ll hide from runs, tackles… but never when asking for the ball, and he’s the most secure player receiving in 1st 1/3
@Pote_SCP@EduardoHagn play as a LB. My point is that these minutes as a LW don’t really mean anything when it comes to deciding whether to sign him or not. He’s never going to be a LW at the elite; he’s only playing there because there’s no one else, and because he’s quick, works hard, and can cross
@Pote_SCP@EduardoHagn Nah, Hagn sees a goal and gets carried away. I know he’s a good player, but it doesn’t tell me anything useful to see that he can play decently as a LW against CV. That’s fine to assess his versatility and adaptability… but not to evaluate whether he can go to a top team and
What’s Uruguay doing? They’re not playing anything. They’re probably the national team with the biggest gap between the quality of their players and what they actually propose. It’s like choosing the coach whose ideas are the furthest away from the characteristics of his players.
Since Arsenal are in the market for a right-back, I honestly don't think signing Pedro Porro would be a bad idea at all.
Yes, he's coming from Tottenham, and I know that alone will make some fans dismiss the idea immediately, but if we're talking purely football, there are things Porro brings that Arsenal currently don't have from the RB position.
He's 26, already proven in the Premier League, understands the pace and physicality of the league, and most importantly, he's an attack-minded full-back. Arsenal have often lacked variety from wide areas when teams sit deep. Porro has genuine pace, loves to get forward, and his crossing ability is one of the best among full-backs in the league.
If Arteta is looking for a more aggressive, offensive right-back who can provide width, create chances and stretch defenses, Porro fits that profile perfectly. He offers something different compared to what Arsenal currently have.
Would Tottenham ever sell him to Arsenal? That's a completely different conversation. But from a football perspective, Pedro Porro is a player I wouldn't mind seeing in red and white.
