@KnicksCentral Knicks weren’t expected to be the champion this year, no team has gone back to back since the KD Warriors, what makes you think another team won’t enter the picture? The Knicks were fully healthy and shooting absurd percentages. Health + getting hot is not sustainable.
@mani_r77610@Mikey_Cooks Did Brunson do it against the greatest dynasty of the modern era? We can add as many asterisks as you want, it doesn’t cancel what I said.
@noshamewshane Ah an eagles fan not realizing a guy named Jalen is benefitting from an elite roster construction and putting him in talks he doesn’t belong in. The irony is crazy.
@NYKnicksPodcast We’re forgetting prime Houston Harden dropped 40 a game for a straight month and had Eric Gordon as his 2nd best player for the vast majority while having to face the Warriors dynasty. OG is better than really anyone harden had and he’s not even the second star for the Knicks.
@yoStax This happens in every chip in every sport. You have the fans that deny it changes anything, but you also have the fans that drastically overestimate how much has changed and that’s where you get the massive hate response. There are discussions happening that shouldn’t be.
@HanaHoops He is, this is actually a great example of why you can’t blindly follow stats ESPECIALLY in Victors case. No stat captures the Knicks ran a different offense and ran away from Vic, just like no stat captures the amount of times Brunson let up an open look but they just missed.
@jogeor_ Brunson is a tremendous scorer, but this Knicks ring was obviously the result of the roster construction. KAT, OG, Mikal, I mean these guys just didn’t miss and it wasn’t like there were any designed plays for them. OG was the best player on the court both sides of the ball.
@ClanTheSpursFan Should they be making Manu comps? No. Does Dylan Harper coming off the bench to get his buckets mean he’s starting franchise PG material just yet? Also no. So much more that goes to being the PG and Harper has yet to make any strides in playmaking without turning the ball over
@SacramentoFan33@PolymarketHoops The only thing worse than his ego is the ego of Kings fans. Your organization sucks, be mad at your owner and decision makers for continuously failing to build a team or treat players correctly instead of having vendettas against those that leave for a reason.
@samborghiniz Dejounte talked about the state of the organization when it was he and Keldon Johnson as the primary guys, not this current team. Also idiotic to feel like a loss in the finals in a season you weren’t projected to make the play-in is even remotely close to what he was saying.
@J_cope11 We get it, your franchise player asked out and you guys are buns now. Every fanbase does this, you’re trying to stir a “I always knew it” narrative about a guy currently in the finals when yall only had one playoff experience. You didn’t know, tanking seasons aren’t equivalent.
@spursbeliever@TylerGlasscock_ No reason to attack another Spurs fan like that, friendly fire bro. You forget there’s an entire regular season that gets you there and Fox held it down in Wembys absence and gave Harper the ability to come off the bench and learn. He was very valuable, spurs are just too young.
