@WebDMshow My friends and I would play make believe when we were 8. Using a deck of cards to determine a winner in the event of a contest. At the age of 12 I shared that with a new kid in class who got excited and pulled out D&D 3.0. I have been running and playing games ever since.
One of my players has no interest in story or exploration. He just sits on his thumbs till combat occurs. I want to make my players happy. Do I just make combat every session wether it makes sense or not? The rest of the party is story driven. #ttrpg#dnd5e#DnD
I just tried @huskybeard cream. I am astoundingly impressed. The scents are amazing(even though 2 of my favorites are being discontinued). As a bearded #ttrpg player the fact that the cream came with a soon to be dice bag is awesome. #beardednerds#BEARD#dnd#nerd
The party knocked at door of the mansion by collapsing a precariouse tower. A 1 sided battle ravaged through the grounds. They came upon the goblins young and cowering adults. 3 out of 4 decided to let them run away. So begins the ?'s of mercy and morality. #dnd5e#ttrpg#DnD
Session 3. The party messed around with the elven and halfling town. They set off through the fey pranks infested grasslands and woods. Making it to the ruins of an old mansion. They find a small goblin collective has claimed it as home. Sadly none of the players speak goblin.

As you are leaving town a man approaches you offering to sell anti fey necklaces for 50 gold a pop. Warning you of the dark tricks they can play on travelers. What do you do?
The 2nd session. I planned for the ruins and the travel from a small farming town to them. I even created a few funny stories in the town just in case. As per usual we spent the entire time in the town and the little bit of prep for that was pushed to its limits.#dungeonmaster

First session went amazing. Nothing like setting the hooks and reeling the players in. For various reasons they have decided to take a job securing ancient ruins for the Arcane Citidal. The players are excited and I am thrilled to have a good group.
his teacher and savior toiled for many years to plan the greatest heist. To rob the Arcane Citidal. The night of the big heist his mentor was betrayed by his partner. As the morning rose Dr. Conry Baywon found his mentor hanging dead and tortured. He vowed to find his murderer.

Backstory3
a gifted child was to much for the small farm town to handle. Strange omens and dark skies followed him constantly. As the town turned against him he fled. Found by a gifted trickster and theif he was raised in The Steps. Till a dark and stormy night.
The true rulers are the wizards and scorcerers. The clerics and paladins the generals and priests. Rangers, rogues and bards the grunts, spies, and propaganda specialists. Seldom does a druid find their way into the sterile white marble world of the citidal.
The Arcane Citidal. Think the Vatican. A massive walled kingdom. They control the diamond trade fiercely. They offer hearth, home, training and protection to all with the gift. They demand free roam through all lands in search for the gift both divine and arcane and for diamonds.
They strive to protect and serve the people of the world. Their caravns offer safe passage to travelers. Their scholars and priests offering guidance and justice when requested. Groups of rangers, paladins and clerics offer protection and healing.
Our story will start in the city called The Steps. It is a large port city carved into the red earth of the sunset lands and filled with trade and travelers. It surrounds the great walled kingdom The Arcane Citidal.#ttrpgs #
