@TychoBrahe I always love this argument. You will not have time to make art, after you lose your ability to make money with it, and now spend all your time working a fast food job in order to remain housed and fed.

We don't live in a utopia that takes care of people's basic needs my dude.

@JennyENicholson As has been said, it is a little bit of both. But I would add in, the creator hates those who make art and actively avoids learning how to make art as a pre-requisite in most cases.

@RealStrictlyLTD I am sure there are a lot of hurdles to doing this. But while you can never stop people from buying to resell, having an open 1-2 week period to order would at least allow people who just want the game, to have a better chance of getting a copy.

@RealStrictlyLTD Consider doing open preorders in the future like LRG has switched to. Let people who want a game, have more than an hour or two to order it. (This comes from someone who got an order in.)
