As you watch the Aurora this evening, it’s worth reflecting that you’re getting a rare direct glimpse of the power of Nature. Those charged particles causing the atmosphere to glow came from a sunspot complex 17 times the diameter of Earth and traveled across 90 million miles at a million miles an hour. Without our magnetic field to protect us, our atmosphere would have been lost to space long ago. Those colours in the sky are Nature reminding us that we’re very lucky to be here amidst the violence. And perhaps therefore also reminding us not to shite it all up :-)

@history99917180 And the scanners letting their mates know the cops were on their way and the odd expletive over the air 😆 good old days. They did make a good weapon to throw though 🤣

[Jo BC @TheBentonator]

Fought like a bloke, strangled, spat at, kicked, punched, abused. Saw death and destruction, told loved ones the worst news. CPTSD as a result but loved every minute until I didn’t x

Women as police officers debate.
Well, I kicked some ass for sure, caught baddies, landed plenty in prison. Broke down doors to find dead people.
Got kicked & punched.
Saved kids from domestic abuse, held a fair few bloodied hands, cried with some, heard his last breath.
& you?

[Jo BC @TheBentonator]

@Phil_Sledge LMD absolute survivor! Thyroid cancer, arthritis and a dislocated knee can’t keep her down #LittleMissDaisy 🌸

[Jo BC @TheBentonator]

@MittensOff @NorthantsChief I don’t usually disparage a man of the cloth but you sir need to get a grip 😆

@CopMoustache Liquorice sticks! Used to love them when I was a kid 🪵

[Jo BC @TheBentonator]

@bs_pearson I’m intrigued… what exactly is a tiroront? 🤣

[Jo BC @TheBentonator]

@MaggieOliverUK I think @Cumbriapolice DID a fair and thorough investigation and the offenders sentence reflects that. You’re not as vocal today as you were 2 years ago.

Care (or cared) for a young family member while the child's parents were at work and under state pension age? There's a little-known credit that could boost your state pension by £1,000s... #MartinLewis

[Dave 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 keep our kids safe. @Dave57947900]

My 12yr old granddaughter hung herself last night using her curtains. As a family we are lost for words. I now urge parents to stop your children using tik tok.
God Bless you lexie mai. 💔😭
