So I recently started collecting plants as a way to honor my mom. She LOVED plants. Taking care of them daily and watching them grow has been so therapeutic. I love turning our home into a jungle. Anyway... Is this not the most beautiful, perfect, fresh new leaf ever?? 😍

Today is a rough one. Spent all day at work arguing with disrespectful jerks to put on a mask on the first Mother's Day without my mom, after losing her to Covid a few months ago. Missing her so much and really wishing I could hug my dad right now.

A guy from Chick-fil-a just walked into work and gave us a whole cater tray of chicken nuggets because they made too many and didn't wanna waste them. Who doesn't love breakfast nuggets?!

This feels so surreal right now. Mom has been in the hospital for a week. Found out today there's no hope for improvement anymore. Flying home in the morning to be able to say goodbye. Wear! A! Fucking! Mask!

Went to the doctor today. I have tendinitis in my forearm. Had to get an anti-inflammatory steroid shot in my buttcheek. So now my arm hurts AND my buttcheek hurts. Yay!

Another one of my workers got off this morning, and then just came back up here with a box of beautiful birthday treats for me. I wish they would stop trying to make me cry at work!

My job may drive me crazy, but I love my people. Work wife coming in clutch with the relaxation kit. And some sweet lil beans handmade a card for me. Not a bad birthday yesterday. 😭
