i think one of the purest forms of love is when someone becomes careful with your happiness. when they know what brings you joy and make a conscious effort not to be the reason you lose it.
This generation doesn't know how to build healthy relationships. We end up saying things like "I don't owe anyone anything," but we do owe people something. You owe an apology to those you've offended. You owe gratitude to those who have supported you. And you owe respect to those you've disrespected. Accountability is a personal act of integrity and moral principles. We will continue to live in a broken society until we learn to take responsibility for our actions that negatively impact others.

It's wild to me that men will be like "my mom did everything, she was a superwoman, I want a woman just like her." And not "my mom did everything while my dad watched her, and I'll never be so uninvolved or absent at home that my wife is doing it all. I don't want the woman I love to suffer like that."
We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention. You keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. Boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. They give you space to think and create. That's when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. Leave some room.
before you go to bed tonight i just want to remind you that you’re going to be okay and you’re going to figure it out. your heart is going to heal. your soul is going to find its home, it’s purpose. you’re going to experience beautiful things. you’re going to love deeply, and find peace within yourself. your whole life is still ahead of you, you have time. trust the process
