Broadcast crew was clearly instructed to say nothing. They never even mentioned that Caitlin was subbed out. They pretended for half of the third quarter that the biggest star in the WNBA simply didn't exist. And then got the green light to say out with a back injury.

As much as I enjoy watching the WNBA, that was one of the most dangerous cheap shots I have seen since I started following the league. The contact from Alyssa Thomas on Caitlin Clark appeared intentional and had the potential to result in a serious injury.
It is unacceptable that the officiating crew did not recognize and address the play appropriately. Player safety must always be the top priority. If the league does not take action, whether through a fine or suspension, it sends the wrong message and raises concerns about the safety of players on the court.

In the fall of 2024, we found that nearly half of black and Hispanic Gen Z'ers support discrimination against white people in hiring decisions (see graph on the left).

We also found that greater trust in news journalists was associated with greater support for racial discrimination against white people, and this pattern held regardless of political orientation (see graph on the right).
