@ValyrianFPS The only part I’m really dreading is the final boss, since that was a big hurdle for me for some reason. Also really not looking forward to needing to do lots of training sims again for upgrades, those were BY FAR my least favorite part of the game 😭
@ValyrianFPS I’m only partway through the second major area, so far it’s definitely harder. You get access to more weapons and nodes and stuff right off the bat which helps, but enemies absolutely can one shot you, and will do minimum half of your health, while being noticeably tankier.
@CentralScruty After finishing 3 and replaying 2 just after, I still got 2 as the best imo, but 3 could definitely overtake it when it has all of its content down the line.
3 is better in quite a few ways though, I REALLY miss deflecting when I go back to Nioh 2 lol..
@Helexzura Started replaying 2 recently after finishing 3 while I wait for the dlc’s. 2 is still my favorite action game of all time, and I’m excited to play through all of the difficulties again after already putting like 500 hours in years ago lol.. there is just nothing like Nioh!
@changlifan_ This is the first character that I straight up just don’t like. People are way too quick to throw around “bad design” since the game doesn’t really have any bad designs, but this just feels like one, like a lazy fan oc or something. Hopefully her gameplay is good at least.
@LM7seven@Shadowbandolero That has nothing to do with whether or not the children deserve to be fed. It’s not about the parents, but frankly if the kids have shitty lazy parents that is all the more reason to feed them at school, considering they may well be neglected at home.
I absolutely adore Nioh 3, but I really wish there was something else to do with Amrita besides leveling up. Having to intentionally die occasionally to avoid being greatly overleveled just because I want to explore more than the bare minimum of the map is quite tedious.
@xShephardx To this day, Nioh 2 is my favorite action/action rpg game by far, and Nioh 1 isn’t even close to being in the discussion, it’s just that much of a step up. I can understand someone who didn’t like 1 still not liking 2, but I believe it’s enough to win some Nioh 1 skeptics over.
@xShephardx It’s difficult to explain why it’s better without it coming off as hyperbole. It’s genuinely just a noticeable to massive improvement in every area, other than MAYBE story, though I like 2’s story more personally. It’s very similar, but improved enough that it might grab you.
@DireRavennn@STsougkranis For real, Nioh is one of the few games where I genuinely just want as much of it as I can get, since nothing else scratches the same itch.
@xShephardx The health loss does the opposite of defeat the purpose of getting more hp upgrades, it makes it more important and rewarding. It adds a sense of urgency to exploring that I haven’t felt before in the genre, knowing that I and the other beings were “running out of time”
@xShephardx Permanent hp loss is ok because it also affects the enemies and bosses, and you still end up with lots of health if you explore. Great narrative mechanic. The runbacks are ass though definitely. Didn’t have any issues with controls but some movement stuff felt a bit jank.
@KunLunKick Well to start, you are very young. Also competitive gaming is signing yourself up to be seen and scrutinized by weirdos and angry kids. Entering a situation/environment like that willingly is going to come with nerves, even if only subconsciously. Also you are eager to win.
