@revvzyy@ShalkaFanNo1@WilliamWho27 They're serialised though, which doesn't work for Doctor Who. There can be one story, but it's got to be set over various times and locations. You don't have a ship that can go anywhere, and go nowhere.
@ShalkaFanNo1@WilliamWho27 6 episodes just isn't enough time to tell a story and get to know the main characters. 12 episodes every other year would be better (like with series 9 - 12).
@WilliamWho27 Only if they don't do it. Fewer episodes = less income; more = more. Making more will bring in more money to make more again. Not making as many will bring in less money and seasons will stay short.
@WilliamWho27 I don't think Moffat would have changed as much as Davies. I don't know why Davies changed so much as a writer, or why he took Doctor Who down the route he did. He said it should have a Marvel-style universe, but it wasn't going to happen the way he went about it.
@miadoctorwho@ItsMeBareth The Space Babies double bill was the closest I've been to leaving. I gave it one more chance and fortunately Boom was slightly better.
