@kylegriffin1@JonathanLanday Trump says he’s “protecting” elections by making it harder for eligible Americans to vote. That’s like protecting a restaurant from bad Yelp reviews by locking the front door. Funny how “STOP THE STEAL” became “STOP THE BALLOT.”

I continue to follow with deep concern the ongoing and escalating violence in the #HolyLand, where, in recent days, many civilians, both in the West Bank and in Gaza, have once again fallen victim. I make a heartfelt appeal for a return to negotiations to achieve a just political solution, founded on the equal dignity and equal rights of every human person. At the same time, I urge the rejection of further military actions and unilateral decisions, especially those that violate the respect for and the status quo of the holy places of every religion.
Putin
Last night Donald Trump released a declassified document that says his own intelligence community identified Putin as personally running an operation to defeat my father in 2020, built around a fake Burisma corruption scandal centered around me and executed through prominent Americans.
Trump tasked his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to fly to Kyiv and meet a known Russian agent.
The Americans who ran, laundered, and legitimized the operation:
Donald Trump. Rudy Giuliani. John Solomon. Joe DiGenova. Victoria Toensing. Lev Parnas. Igor Fruman. Chanel Rion. Sean Hannity. Steve Bannon. Miranda Devine. Ken Vogel. Ron Johnson. Chuck Grassley. James Comer. Jim Jordan.
To name a few.
An operation formally sanctioned by Trump's own Treasury Department on September 10, 2020, and expanded to include more named actors on January 11, 2021.
Oh, and don't forget the Russian-linked FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who later pleaded guilty to making the entire Burisma bribery story up.
The record exists and we have all the receipts, and more.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Americans on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This anniversary stands as an invitation not only to celebrate the nation’s remarkable journey, but also to reflect upon the responsibilities that the sons and daughters of this country bear to one another, and to the generations who will inherit the nation that is being shaped today. https://t.co/jIio4BBg9v
America hates Donald Trump.
He is an abject failure in every conceivable dimension.
He is the worst President in our history.
Soon, the Trump name and the Trump family will be in the dustbin of history, reviled and ridiculed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
MAJOR BREAKING: Florida officials have told contractors to begin dismantling “Alligator Alcatraz.”
All detainees have been transferred to other immigration detention facilities, reportedly in part because the Everglades site was so expensive to operate.
The facility lasted just one year. Estimated cost to taxpayers: $1.2 billion.
BREAKING NYT:
Government documents raise new doubts about Trump's unsubstantiated claim that "vandals" sabotaged the Reflecting Pool.
There's no indication the peeling blue coating and algae blooms were caused intentionally — and the Trump admin knew that.

BREAKING: Donald Trump is reportedly furious that the annual ranking of US presidents by a committee of 50 top presidential historians was released today, and the committee almost unanimously ranked Trump’s second term as the worst in US history.
BREAKING: In a stunning move, France’s leader Emmanuel Macron just announced he will not allow Donald Trump to remove sanctions on Iran until there is satisfactory agreement on ending Iran’s nuclear program. This is how you check Trump’s insanity.
BREAKING: Italy's deputy PM and foreign minister Antonio Tajani just CANCELLED his planned diplomatic trip to Washington on monday, declaring that Trump's "serious and offensive words" directed at the prime minister "offend all of Italy."
This comes after Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni TORCHED Donald Trump after he claimed she “begged” him for a photo at the G7 and that he only took it because he “felt sorry for her.”
The Italian PM was wondering.
"I don’t know why the president of the United States behaves this way with his own allies; it’s not the first time this happens."
She went on saying, "I can only say that I’m sorry he doesn’t show the same determination with the enemies of the West, with the enemies of the United States, whose leaders he instead shows himself to be much more accommodating towards."
Italy's prime minister is a boss lady.
A federal judge ruled the Trump administration couldn’t cancel $7.6 billion in clean energy grants simply because the states voted Democratic.
The government’s defense was apparently: “Yes, that’s what we did.” 💀

New from Haberman and Swan:
Secret memos show that the Trump White House debated last year, to a greater degree than previously known, whether to limit a constitutional right — suspending habeas corpus rights for undocumented immigrants to accelerate mass deportation efforts.
