@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT Sorry, but i don't think you'll being changing that view anytime soon. Maybe its best we part ways on this, you can think what you want, and i can think what i want. It's an anime after all so its nothing serious.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT The definition seems different between individuals. some think gender dysphoria is a requirement while others dont. regardless, this is an anime to a level of levity for its hijinks is to be accounted for, so since Mahiro considers himself a man, then that's how it is for me.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT ok? sure, but adjusting to situations we dislike is a human aspect we all have. The guy still is perfectly fine with having his "little guy" when the joke rounds the corner again, its just always in inconvenient situations, you know because its a comedy.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT Same way Ranma doesn't value his curse, but is fine with using the social advantages being in a female body gives him when he needs it.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT I'm not making a direct 1 to 1 comparison. Just say that Mahiro doesn't come off as a trans character to me because he values the situation the body gives him, not the body itself.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT -trans he'd have to specifically desire to be a woman, but it's more of him just accepting it as a condition to have a better time than he was having locked in his room. It's like Ranma. Often, Ranma uses being a woman as a tool, but it's not how he identifies.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT Partially. Thats what the second part of my little thread was explaining. Girl him has something to look forward to, friends, a social life. Guy him doesn't, locked in his room. If he'd been just reverted in age at the start, I think he'd act the same with it. For him to be-
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT -dude stuff, meaning he can be more popular. his original body doesn't have that, he has Hentai games, a room, and a position in society that most would shun and look down on him for.
@Roy_Inverse@CloudMonkeyTWT -If he were trans then he'd hate the fact it keeps coming back, not wish he could use it again. Its simply the situation he likes about his girl self then the body. His girl self has friends, a social life, and frankly hes more unique as a woman into dude stuff then a dude into -
@menmakii@A6T466Y MT ebs and flows from a slice of life to action. That's how life works and it emulates that. The small moments make the action more worthwhile. So all I can ask, is try to stick it out.
@Sangerinwander@TheCreatureHero Most who dislike it are supportive of the LGBT. I'm bi, hate the community, and that's not an uncommon view nowadays. The types that hype it up often are the ones that create a bad wrap for us to normies. And normies are the majority in pretty much all countries.
