Not all restorations go to plan unfortunately. Some spine removals compare to stripping wall paper! So a completely new spine has to made. All gold lettering done by hand. Customer very happy. Precious Books Bound for Life.

No job too small! Half bound #book covered in Heritage Buckram cloth. Front cover hot gold foil blocked using 6pt (2mm high) lead type. 84 pages hand sewn with bees wax coated thread. Hubs created along spine to show the 3 chords which were hand sewn for added strength.
