@KQEDForum Can the fact that country music is chock full of declarations of love for trucks be discussed? I rarely hear a song that doesn't have the word "truck" in at least 1 verse π
@KQEDForum@mkimreporter @CCenizaChoy @NationalNurses My gf who works for Aegis, all her caretaker employees are fillipino or of similar background, and almost every single one has told her they are sending money to family and responsible for the care of family including extended - they do not want to complain and lose their jobs.
@KQEDForum Nothing wrong with going outside, just make sure you have your mask on or visible to others in case you unavoidably enter someone's 6-10ft of bubble.
@KQEDForum@alexismadrigal@celinegounder @KeckMedUSC I work for a parks district in Sac county, and have received ZERO testing for the coronavirus, despite working directly with trash and public restroom + general public.
@KQEDForum@alexismadrigal@celinegounder @KeckMedUSC I am so frustrated hearing from friends, relatives, and coworkers about no masks being worn by their relative coworkers+family; a school district in Sac county is doing nothing to keep returning bus drivers OR the kids they are transporting safe from infection π¬
@KQEDForum @SamWHarnett @ellenhuet How could Uber/Lyft and co. POSSIBLY afford the marketing they paid for did and still claim they can't afford to comply with state laws??
@KQEDForum@lorenmtaylor@VillageOakland This does NOTHING to help with the source of homelessness in the 1st place!! Virtually all spaces are banned for the homeless to go, so us lucky and privileged enough to have housing can ignore how we feel when we see them - shame. This is disgusting.
@nprpolitics@NinaTotenberg I agree with Nina that Judge Barrett appears "vanilla", though my 1st thought was robotic; her bias towards Republicans seemed clear to me based on the time efficiency of her answers and giving details not even asked for.
