I'm excited to announce several changes to my online presence today, regarding my blog, website, and Bluesky account. In summary, my blog and website are on new domain names, and my Bluesky handle is, too, among other small changes.

I'm assuming it's because the marketing email system is separate from the rest of their system, and your email is just added when you create your account or however else, but I do think they should remove you from it themselves if you not only delete your account, but also explicitly use your data protection rights to have them delete everything about you.
I think they should do it when you delete your account, but that's my opinion.
Thanks, Derek! I was going to find that post, but I'd already blown past the regular character limit, so I didn't bother. I don't know why they didn't just have the @CommunityNotes handle send the message rather than creating a new account, since they already let you unenroll from the program by messaging it; but again, they decided to do it that way for some reason. The team makes quite a few confusing decisions!
