Where no-one looks, fraud is rampant. Use numbers not opinions. To say "Almost non-existent" to me means someone is ignorant, hiding something or, someone is afraid of what they might find if they actually looked for it. The simple solution is to put in place processes that prevent voter fraud, vote counting fraud or errors and, automatically triggered external audits when certain anomalies appear - like a 200,000 vote swing in 1 minute, or 10,000 mail-in ballots found in the side of the road.

Voter ID Yes.
The debate can't be "why should we have voter ID?" but "why shouldn't we?". There is no logical position to reject voter verification.
A person who wants to vote but isn't eligible is not disenfranchised by that situation. They have no franchise to lose. A person who votes but is cancelled out by fraud is the person who is disenfranchised.
If someone has a inability to figure out how to get their required ID maybe they shouldn't be voting.
Harsh? No, not at all.
