This photo captures our second, and current, location at the Iowa State Fair. We opened at the corner of 33rd & Grand in 1979, and we've been serving fairgoers there ever since.

The founder of the Bud Tent, Grandpa "Doc" Cunningham, believed there was a right way and a wrong way to sell beer. The right way? Ice cold.

Nearly 80 years later, his legacy is still going strong in the Bud Tent's permanent home, where we're proud to continue the tradition.
