The last time I was in “sacred” Croke Park, I watched two drunk guys try and fail to roll a spliff on a bursting wheelie bin before one of them puked on the other. Sacred grounds.
@LesterSpence Yeah, that’s what I meant by context. I have no ill will towards Monty, it was a tough spot, he should have never taken the job. I wish him well.
@Hermaphro@omarisankofa For sure, no hard feelings at all, it’s rare so have civilized discussion on this hellscape. I would be happy to ban all social media tbh.
@Hermaphro@omarisankofa Surely people can decide that for themselves. There were big advantages to living in China, also some big disadvantages. What is the downside to having the discussion? Americans moving to China? I swear I’m not being argumentative, I just don’t see the problem.
@Hermaphro@omarisankofa Having lived in both places I can say that there is a fair amount of ridiculous propaganda coming from both countries 🤷♂️ I couldn’t care less about Tik Tok tbh but their reasons for banning it seem to apply to all social media.
@Hermaphro@omarisankofa I lived in China for years. Groceries are cheaper. And you don’t have to pay for an ambulance (another one I saw). This isn’t propaganda, it’s true. Sure, there are myriad reasons why, but that’s not propaganda.
I know I’m not the target demographic, though I do love musicals, but “Wicked” is horrible. Hot trash. I faked back pain and left my wife, sister in law and nieces in the theater 90 mins in.
