It’s incredibly difficult to comprehend that fact that. Between sept 1943 and April 45 the Allies lost up to 70,000 troops on Italian soil and still got the job done. Absolutely astonished at how they kept their morale high enough to keep on going. #italiancampaign #ww2 #wehavewayspod
