Today was a fun filled day at the Center with a special floral arrangement class led by Megan and Kat of DBD Florist. All smiles as everyone left the class with their own special creation. 💐

Today we had a luncheon to begin this Memorial Day weekend. There was a parade of military flags held by a group of Wilmington Veterans.We were grateful to have Acting Town Manager Lou Cimaglia and new Assistant Town Manager Judy O’Connell join us in this day of remembrance.🇺🇸

At today’s program at the Buzzell Senior Center, a special citation was presented to Terri Marciello by State Senator Barry Finegold for Terri’s leadership and commitment to the older adults in the town of Wilmington.
We were so fortunate to have Henry Quinlan, grandfather, attorney, publisher, here at the Center yesterday. Henry presented “Happiness in Your Senior Years!” with such wonderful insight. All who attended left with a new perspective on how to truly obtain happiness☺️

Sunday was a perfect day for a warm, Harrow’s chicken pot pie lunch. Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for sponsoring and to Pack and Troop 136 for serving. We all had a great time!
On another gloomy spring day, we had some sunshine fill our center! Thank you to the WHS students “Bridging Generations” for coming over today. We had a great morning using our artistic side doing some rock painting!
