Hey @elonmusk, I really hope you see this message and look into it.

I think every 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck and all Cybertrucks after should get the 7 year / 70,000 mile high priced propulsion related warranty retroactively applied.

A lot of early Foundation Series owners had their trucks plagued with issues. Many of us still believe in the future of the truck and we're holding on to ours and encouraging others to buy.

Early FS owners didn't get free Supercharging like later FS owners did. And now with this extended warranty for 2026 Cybertrucks and newer, that's why you're seeing comments about early owners feeling like they got screwed. No customer should ever feel like that after a purchase.

I personally had 2 Cybertrucks with PCS and other major failures that made the vehicle completely inoperable. I still kept my truck because it's the best truck ever made and Tesla has fixed the reliability issues on newer models.

Other automakers frequently extend warranty coverage retroactively through Warranty Extension Programs or Special Coverage when widespread issues come up. Tesla should do the same.

This would show future customers that Tesla stands behind every single product they sell, no matter what.

The Tesla I've come to know has always taken care of its customers. I truly hope you do right by early Cybertruck owners too.

@wmorrill3 After only 23 months of owning my #cybertruck I am simultaneously in love with it and upset that it has been in the shop 11 times to fix various failed parts all under warranty or recall. Fine-it’s a brand new truck and a leap of faith in Tesla for new owners. Now the PCS failed and Tesla Anaheim says I need to pay $6400 to fix it because I have 51900 miles, 1900 over the warranty. The PCS failure is common-many CT owners have had it replaced under warranty; It’s just expensive. I’m surprised PCS isn’t a considered a power train issue. I’m also surprised Tesla won’t pay for a part they know has been going bad in many CTs. The truck won’t charge without it.

I had to beg, threaten and publicize on social media (all respectfully and politely) to get Tesla to pay for my $6500 PCS repair on by CT FS with 51,900 miles. They called and waived it the same day I was to pay and pick it up but prior to my actions the head of the service center said he cannot and will not waive it. I agreed to pay the $6,500 because I needed the car but promised that it wouldn’t end there; I would be taking legal action. Doing the right thing means doing the right thing for everyone with this PCS issue and not just the squeaky wheels like me.

@kevinace @rhensing I found that DC charging is unavailable too so you need to get to a SC before your miles gets too low. You can’t charge.
