The proposed 80m tower is just too big, as you can see from the developer's own mock-ups below. And it's so near the B.M.

The former Saville Theatre, now the Odeon Shaftesbury Avenue, has been saved from destruction. After an unsually long Planning Inquiry, the plans to gut the Art Deco gem and plonk glass hotel floors on top have been rejected. Thanks to all who took part! https://t.co/ROz31qU7BZ

Thousands of residents in the West End, and our visitors, have had to put up with pedicab danger & nonsense for far too long. We all hope that this very sensible Bill is passed into law.
