@BethMooreLPM@glenmcmicken@philipnation I read the original post SO wrong. My brain transposed the words to Bible Study instead of Study Bible. I was so, so confused…you could imagine my initial thoughts on your post Beth. 🫢😳🤣 🤦♀️
@AmazonHelp@amazon@AmazonAlexa@AmazonKindle@amazonkindleun1 Furthermore, since the will be required for the app will this be the way that @amazon will start charging for the app or was it so wildly unpopular since release that this is a way to pump the numbers ?
I am, as I am sure others are, really frustrated with this change.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@AmazonAlexa@AmazonKindle@amazonkindleun1 I know how to turn on assistive reader. Have used it for years, too. It will not continue if the screen closes and sucks battery life.
This was literally the tipping point for my choice what assistive device line up I would use.
@muttavius@AccountingAsArt R U sure? Because according to what I found:
John Morton served as the Director of ICE, a position he held from 2009 -2013.
Todd M. Lyons is serving as the Acting Director of ICE as of March 2025 and continuing into 2026.
The average tax refund is around $3,167.
Suppose you either save the refund as a lump sum when it arrives the following year, or you adjust your withholding to get $264 more in your monthly paychecks and save it immediately.
After 1 year:
At 3.7% savings rates, the monthly saver earns about $53 more interest.
At 7% market returns, the monthly investor earns about $100 more.
After 10 years:
At 3.7% savings rates, the monthly saver ends up about $700 ahead.
At 7% market returns, the monthly investor ends up about $2,000 ahead.
Tax refunds are interest-free loans to the government.
But are they really worth all the personal finance attention they receive?
@JTheAccountant Ummm, no, just no. 🤦♀️
It may have something to do with how your tax return is prepared, but more likely it does NOT have anything to do with how your return was prepared.
