Introducing my 2nd #DesignASprite entry: Pufferfish Sprite! 🐡🧡
My first entry was Medic Sprite, and I wanted to keep the same cute, memorable sketchbook art style while trying a totally new idea.
Pufferfish Sprite is a defensive little sprite that gets spikier as it levels up. Its ability, Spiny Return, reflects 10% of the damage dealt to it back to the attacker. It also has walking trails, idle animations, healing/damage reactions, and a full level system.
I’ve spent a tremendous amount of time and passion working on these sprite concepts, and I’ve always wanted to contribute something creative to a game like Fortnite 🎮✨
