@CChapro832 OMG I forgot Warren Spahn pitched for the Mets at the end of his career. It just feels wrong.
They may have been bad but they had character and it was all the prelude to the Miracle Mets so hey it all worked out
@CChapro832 And to be fair to the Mets this occurred during the very beginning of their history when they were a new (bad) expansion team that lost 100+ games 5 out of their first 6 seasons
Answer - C - Mike Schmidt.
The Silver Slugger Award was created in 1980 and Schmidt won the first 5 Silver Slugger Awards for NL Third Basemen between 1980 -1984.
Between 1974 and 1979 Schmidt MLB in home runs 3 times and won MVP votes in 5 seasons. Good chance he would have won *a few* more Silver Sluggers, too!
Ohtani who?!
Answer - "B" Braves pitcher Tony Cloninger hit two grand slams and drove in 9 runs as part of a 17-3 rout of the San Francisco Giants on July 3, 1966.
Cloninger also logged a complete game victory, striking out 5 batters.
His two Grand Slams and 9 RBI in a game are STILL an Atlanta Braves records.
Excellent job of the "fake out" selection of Rick Wise who hit two home runs and pitched a no-hitter on June 23, 1971. I fell for the bait as did many of you!
@DaleMurphy3@MLB Brewers are fun and connected with the Braves, but the Rays are fun as well. Went to a Rays game this year with my daughter so they get the nod! Would love to see these two teams go 7 games though 🤞
“Well, I hate to bring it up, because I know you've got enough pressure on you already. But we agreed to get married as soon as you won your first case. Meanwhile, ten years later, my niece, the daughter of my sister is getting married. My biological clock is...
*ticking like this* and the way this case is going, I ain't never getting married! “
In Milwaukee, you can still drink at Harvey Kuenn’s old tavern and you can sit at the bar from “Major League.” You can have a beer in Bernie Brewer’s chalet and play wiffle ball at a baseball-themed brewery.
An iconic city for beer and baseball.

So many good answers they are impossible to rank. I'll throw one out -
Josh Gibson had he been able to play in MLB and didn't have a brain tumor at the age of 32.
His stats would have been insane
The live organist has been a mainstay in baseball for years, but you won’t hear one in Milwaukee tonight at the World Series. Or Tampa Bay next week.
In fact 20 of the 30 MLB teams told @NBCNews they no longer have someone at every game.
