Took a break from game making to convert my projects into one singular repo. Slowly integrating my game engine into it.
If you are curious about the engine I share more often here.๐

Worked on an in-house sprite editing tool, with layering, scaling and more. I am excited for what I can do with this feature in the future, but what do you think?

@vnlgamedev Nothing so far, was an accidental proof of concept whilst working on layering sprites, and thought it was so cool I had to share. Might add a real-time export feature, or use it for fourth-wall breaking ingame enemies ^u^!
Messing around with my game engine.
Todayโs experiment: floor textures, enemy spawning, and a few bugs that have apparently decided they live here now.
Still very much a work in progress, but I like this!

@rpa_dake The dopamine exuding from the results is immeasurable. And seeing it taking shape, I can foresee huge pillars stretching upwards into infinity, grand megastructures, liminal vibes! Soon I have more time, and I can't wait to continue ๐ !!
@rpa_dake Took an enormous amount of time reaching this point. But it has paid off =)! Next on the block: Tiered objects, like pedestals and half cubes.
I usually do not post that often twice in a row, but I am proud to show that I made transparent rendering (pseudo infinite) with a start of a skybox, also debug monitors. So many bugs, so much to fix, but for now, I am proud. #indiedev#gamedev#raycasting#horror
