@RpsAgainstTrump "If the Trump administration said 'we're gonna arrest people at Home Depot', I don't think anyone would have signed up for that"
Of course they fucking would have. It's a cult.
@asapfrfx @TheWr13r Since he's always in "content mode", I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he was happy when he found out the guy had died because he knew it would be a great "twist."
@DewEnjoyer Holy shit. I haven't watched a MrBeast video in years (even then, it was just to see what all the fuss was about). Is this really how bad it's gotten??? how are more people not talking about this???
@starsandtigers@TheNCSmaster Yeh but this isnt about getting the original version of YouTube back. Its just about how awful YouTube is NOW. It wasnt perfect but YT was still fine for many years with the partner program in place
Now, the platform is a fucking mess. It's full of AI slop and commercial garbage
@starsandtigers@TheNCSmaster I don't see what any of that has to do with Jack's point lol. He was saying that, since MrBeast gained prominence, the platform as a whole started leaning more towards content aimed purely at making money. It was no longer about making money AND having fun.
@starsandtigers@TheNCSmaster This point makes no sense because YouTube was still great for years after the monetization program came about. Can't say the same for MrBeast's popularity.
Once he started gaining attention, the platform as a whole gradually started falling apart.
@CopaExMachina@DiscussingFilm You don't get it tho. This is DC where James Gunn will be throwing hundreds of millions of dollars at these little artsy projects that just happen to be about superheroes. Every single filmmaker will have complete creative freedom.
That's still happening, right? RIGHT????
@DiscussingFilm This is one of Gunn's biggest flaws, imo. He's way too reactionary. He needs to spend less time on social media and just stick to his choices.
