@PBSportstalks As for Kornet and his stamina. I dont see him realistically playing 40+ minutes a night which is what Wemby was doing in the finals. He was really a net negative on the court and Spurs should have gone small and played Barnes over him in the first place.

@PBSportstalks Not sure I'm sold completely on Castle until he gets a more consistent jumper, tons of upside though for sure. On top of what I said previously they also need to get better at feeding it down low as even when Wemby did have good position they couldnt get him the ball consistently

@49ersSportsTalk People forget how well Smith was playing before he got hurt and lost his job to Kaep. Purdy is solid but he forces the ball quite often, I would take Smith personally. Garoppolo was a flash and Kaep couldn't get it done once his scrambling was contained.

@PBSportstalks @HegelianMutt For sure but there's ways to get him down low without relying entirely on him physically imposing himself, screening being the biggest example. Problem is Mitch seems completely incapable of drawing up plays to do that or really much of anything.

@esidery They should bring Champagnie off the bench, put a scorer out there with Fox who won't simply camp in the corner and will force Brunson to play defense every trip down. Problem is they'd have to stagger them 2nd quarter on or they don't have a true ball handler out there.

They've now drafted Cowing and Watkins at WR and they never see the field, drafted an injury risk in Pearsall and go right back to the WR well after signing Evans and Kirk.
