🇵🇰 A 26-year-old Christian man, Samuel Arif, was arrested and charged with blasphemy according to a First Information Report filed on August 29.

The FIR (No. 806/26) was registered at the Muslim Town Police Station in Lahore under Sections 295-C and 298-A of the Pakistan Penal Code, which mandate the death penalty.

The complaint was filed by Muhammad Umair Alam Khan, a resident of Punjab University Staff Colony.

A pastor in Chin State, Myanmar was shot dead by the country’s military (Tatmadaw) on 14 September at around 4pm.

Reverend Dal Thawn Tuang, 49, was assistant pastor of a church in Lamzang village, where he had served for 22 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Credible sources confirmed that Pastor Tuang was shot three times by the Tatmadaw while returning to Lamzang after ministering in neighbouring Tui Tawh Village.

🚨BREAKING: The Israel Defense Forces has eliminated Hamas commander Mahmoud Abd al-Fattah Awad in an airstrike in Gaza City, he held seven hostages—Daniella Gilboa, Karina Ariev, Doron Steinbrecher, Naama Levy, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, and Eitan Mor—in a tunnel after abducting them.
