Dear our Graduands,
The Dean Assoc. Professor Ronald Naluwairo and all staff of the School of Law extend our heartfelt congratulations to each one of you who will be graduating with the degrees of Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Master of Laws (LLM), and Doctor of Laws (LLD) of Makerere University. Your graduation marks not merely the completion of the respective academic programs, but the culmination of years of rigorous study, intellectual growth and resilience. As you step forth into the next chapters of your lives, always remember that law is more than a career; it is a calling.
Society looks to you to resolve so many social-legal problems and challenges. In the pursuit of your careers and service to society, carry forward the values that have defined your training. Serve with diligence and humility, promote fairness and justice, and defend constitutionalism and the rule of law.
We are immensely proud of your achievements and confident in your potential to make meaningful contributions to society. Though you leave our lecture halls, you will always remain part of our academic community. Congratulations once again on this remarkable milestone. We celebrate you and look forward to witnessing the impact you will undoubtedly make to society in your different career paths.
