Pippa was a marvellous support to our film and to the training toolkit we made afterwards.
What a loss to her family, friends and to the stroke community at large.
We are deeply saddened by the death of Professor Pippa Tyrrell MBE, a former trustee and Vice-Chair of the charity and a true visionary in the stroke world.
@karenjguthrie@TheCloserWeGet Hi Karen I met you + family at premiere of The Closer We Get in Edinburgh all those years ago, and ordered the DVD from you. I've just played it for my dear friend Wendy, visiting from Boston USA and we cried together for Ann: we wished we had had that relationship w/our mothers.
🔥Seven years of screenings!🔥
Tuesday March 8 at 7.30pm at the small and beautiful @OxenParkCinema Club, in director Karen’s adopted homeland - she’s doing a Q & A too 👏🏻

In the No Man’s Land between Christmas Day & Boxing Day, 5 years ago (how can that be?), my dad breathed his last with my wee brother Campbell by his side. I love this picture of them. Dad full of love and pride, Campbell somehow already wise and resolute, in the way kids can be.

@ChrisLarkin2 @TheStrokeAssoc You suit that wig 😊.
Best of luck in your future plans Chris and thank you for everything you did to help @TheCloserWeGet reach audiences affected by stroke. When nobody else saw its potential, you did. Artists need more people like you, building bridges into the real world.
Wow. Really inspiring chat with a new care company looking to use our #seebeyondstroke training. Long chat about the importance of empathy, and tools to sharpen it in trainees. Thanks to @TheStrokeAssoc for the introduction!
It’s #WorldStrokeDay today - I remember my mum & dad every day. Both suffered #lifechanging strokes - here we all are before stroke changed our lives forever.
