In May 2023, a British TV institution came to an end after 28 seasons.

In its heyday, Soccer AM was the go-to football chat and comedy show, watched by millions every Saturday. Everyone loved it. The best presenters were Tim Lovejoy and Helen Chamberlain, who were the shows stars for 22 seasons.

When Helen's contract wasn't renewed in 2017, Sky failed to replace her with another female presenter, which was a big mistake. The two new male presenters couldn't take the show back to its glory years, and with viewing figures dropping Sky cancelled the show.

It was a good, unique, and funny show, the likes of which we’ll probably never see again.

Kids these days will never know just how good Soccer AM was in its prime.
