#TF2's been a huge inspiration for my first Steam game, Club Werewolf, so I thought I'd compare our economies! It also debuts the first look at our room editor 👀

Show don't tell🫢by removing words you can use one image for all languages in our game. It's challenging but fun to design game instructions that work across cultures!
This gif shows the relationship between pattern numbers, the pattern image and our character, Walter
Some takeways:
Hire somebody who knows what they're doing to consult or build it!
If you want to do it yourself, learn all the skills and effects upfront
Make changes early in design where it's cheap!
Finally, I could add design back!
With a solid foundation, it was a much simpler task changing component colours and assets
Some functionality did change to aid design, but far less churn than before.
A working proof of concept for our Level Up UI. By claiming an item in the room, everyone shares in the suspense of your new item! #gamedev#indiedev#UIDesign
🇵🇱Dodaliśmy polską wersję językową dzięki @radveins !🇵🇱
send us a message if you'd like to help get your language in the game and get a credit and exclusive item!
5 stars? that's a lot when we only care for clean, dirty and an in-between (sorry #counterstrike well-worn fans!). We decided on a 3 star system instead
No-two items alike! The item system randomly generates a quality value and permanently assigns it to each item. The higher your quality, the lower the amount of grime. #werewolf#cs2#ohnepixel#indiedev
