Many have been complaining about “uglified female characters”, and the argument is that “people like beautiful things and men are the main gaming audience”🚀
Okay so where is that main audience from supporting these games? Yeah, they did manage to sell and some get to fund a sequel, but their sales are nowhere near The Last of Us, Horizon Forbidden West and the likes.
I’m not saying I don’t want more games like these. I can enjoy games and characters of different kinds as long as they’re well-made and appealing to me.
But my point is why is the talk about beauty only used online for outrage culture, yet when it comes to actual sales, far fewer people show up?
Judging by the level of outrage over God of Way Laufey and Intergalactic or Horizon, you’d imagine a game like Stellar Blade would cross the 10m mark in a year or so. But that wasn’t the case.
So do you actually want attractive characters or is it just small internet minority that wants outrage revenue?🤔
Can’t imagine the meltdowns if GTA6 got delayed to Q1-Q2 of 2027, after other studios stacked up their games in September 2026 or pushed them to early 2027🚀
They will neither be able to bring them back to 2027 nor push them even further into 2027😅
The last mainline Tomb Raider game was in 2018, that’s eight years ago🚀
It’s 2026, and they still need another year WITH the use of AI to deliver a second remake of a game from 1996.
Meanwhile, Capcom delivered 3 AAA remakes and 3 mainline games for Resident Evil, all top notch quality from 2017-2026🎤
Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo is absolutely amazing🚀
This is the first mainline game in a 20 years dormant franchise, and it feels quite authentic
✅Not souls-like
✅Fun weighty combat
✅Beautiful set pieces
✅Nice challenge
✅Fun lead
MUST PLAY😎

Insomniac's WOLVERINE story details🚀
✅The X-Men do not exist in this universe
✅Mutants live in hiding
✅Most of the world don’t know they exist
✅Logan is part of Team X
✅They save mutants around the world
✅Game has a “Low-gore” paths
✅Mystique, Sabretooth, Jean & Omega Red
✅More X-Men characters under wraps
(This feels like quite a great set up for Insomniac’s X-Men game that leaked few years ago, if it’s still on the cards, this could very well be an origin story to a full blown X-Men game universe)😎
Insomniac Games reaffirms that WOLVERINE is a linear game, not open world🚀
“We did not set out to make an open world game or a sandbox game. What we really wanted was a high-octane, high intrigue, linear single-player adventure, and the missions reflect that in their structure”

007 First Light sequels will be published by Amazon Games, unlike First Light which was self-published by IO🚀
“We did not [make First Light] ... that IP acquisition happened after the IO deal was already done”
