@Rhymestyle I had a similar idea but keep the traditional banlist. If Genesys has taught me anything is putting a restriction on extra deck and main deck engines like limit 3 and stuff isnt the way but could work for non-engine staples. The banlist should also still exist for the other.
@thedestroyer_99 I mean it is a soulslike technically.
Considering Soulslike is the subgenre the games fall under and Soulsborne is a classification to state it was made by Miyazaki and Fromsoftware. So its technically both so calling one or the other is both correct.
@tyminski_marek Hell yeah! I think a Lords of the Fallen Metroidvania would be sick! Like somewhere between Blasphemous and Salt and Sanctuary. An Isometric Lords of the Fallen sounds like it could be sick too. It could kinda be like Fountains or No rest for the Wicked but yalls own take.
@StwCodeFT So always imagined him with Kovu from Lion King 2s voice. So this is close -ish. I understand though and it's cool if you dont like it. I find others reactions of gatekeeping here a bit much. But you'll always have that with huge properties.
@Sakerift@ShrimpBoatBean Yeah, I've played with alot of randos and noobs and most of them tell me the same thing about gear and buffs. They usually say " Im not going to go through the hassle of continously changing talismans or buffing I just want to play". They just see if it "works" with thier build.
@playdeadpal@Rechardart I wouldnt say terrible, I'd say uneducated. If they beat the game that way they honestly made the game harder than a min-maxed build. Some people love that feeling of not knowing and diving in head first with no prep nor reading. Is it reckless and ignorant? Yes. But its fine.
@EzzyTwink@SummerKiyohime The point of them pointing of them mentioning the buffs is to explain to the less knowlegable that those numbers are inflated. Believe it or not there are some people that dont play optimally. So many are just saying there other weapons and combinations that do more damage.
@skumnut That weapon is mid man. Its fun and cool drip though. Your just buff stacking to acheive this damage and there are many better and stronger weapons you can do this same practice and achieve even more damage.
@buddahmfjones The problem for me here is the combat has no weight nor damage to it. Dude gets sliced with a sword multiple times and never flinches. I could see poising through 1 but not multiple. Thats across the board with the combat showcased here. It looks fine but has no substance.
@TemptingToast Not really broken. Its solid for starting for sure, but thats it solid. Other starting classed get Square off or Unsheathe that are about the same or better.
@MortalShellGame Game was really good. There are issues with it for sure. You guys will get alot of the bugs and stuff fixed though. The later game dungeon sometimes felt half baked and some end game stuff might need so me work. I hope not too much is changed though. Ive seen some bad takes.
@DSoukal@MortalShellGame "Ability to switch between weapons with a button" ? That kinda goes against what the game is going for imo. It feels like they want you to choose a dedicated weapon not switch between them. I liked it that way but if you dont thats fine. If they change it that will be fine too.
@DireRavennn Look everyone has different tastes even with things similar to other things you may like. I personally liked MS2 im on NG+3 and it has some issue and its own identity but found it to be a very solid game. Its cool if you didnt like it though. What other soulslikes do you like?
