I was crying the first time I saw this clip. Kenny’s muffled “that makes you very fucking gay” broke me.

🕹️ A fan is developing a game based on Zach Cregger’s 'RESIDENT EVIL' movie in the style of PS1 games.

The early prototype features a snowy location with a barn and a zombie dog chasing the player. The latest update adds death and injury animations, along with sounds for when the character gets hurt. The dog uses the Cerberus model from Resident Evil 2.

The developer says no vibe coding is being used. ☝️

Thank you to everyone who experienced this PS2 adventure that introduced Dark Jak, the Morph Gun, and more to the series.

🧟 The Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs has made his own Resident Evil 7 fan film and wants to work with Zach Cregger on a Resident Evil sequel.

🔦 Chandler Riggs, who played Carl Grimes in The Walking Dead, directed the film and also stars as Ethan Winters.

🪏 Jason Douglas, who played Tobin in The Walking Dead, plays Jack Baker.

🔥The story follows Ethan as he searches for his missing wife and finds himself trapped by the Baker family.

The production team transformed an old cigar factory in Tampa Bay into part of the Baker estate, using practical sets, special effects, and stunt work with minimal VFX. Greg Nicotero, known for his work on The Walking Dead, also provided special effects equipment.

Speaking to @IGN, Chandler Riggs said he would love to work with Zach Cregger on a future Resident Evil movie.

📅 Releases online October 14.

Hideo Kojima says that Zach Cregger's ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ reminded him of how he used to play Resident Evil games:

“This isn’t a film adaptation of ‘Resident Evil’. It’s a film about the experience of playing ‘Resident Evil’, controller in hand. It reminded me of how I felt when I first played the original ‘Resident Evil’ on PlayStation back in 1996. I was just like Bryan in this movie. I kept getting game over after game over, shouting ‘F***!’ over & over again.”
