@BenHigginsSD Too bad this isnt back yard baseball where your buddy will run for you and you can just stay at home
If he cant do an essential part of baseball (running the bags) he shouldnt be in there
The real team move would be to go on the IL to give the padres flexibility while he recovers
"Perfection is impossible.
In the 1,526 singles matches I played in my career, I won almost 80% of those matches.
But what percentage of points did I win?
54%
In other words, even top ranked tennis players win barely more than half the points they play.
When you lose ever second point on average, you learn not to dwell on every shot.
You teach yourself to think:
'Okay, I double faulted...it's only a point.'
'Okay, I came to the net and I got passed again...it's only a point.'
Even a great shot, an overhead backhand smash that ends up on ESPN's top 10 playlist – that too is just a point.
Here's why I'm telling you this.
When you're playing a point, it has to be the most important thing in the world. And it is.
But when it's behind you, it's behind you.
This mindset is crucial – because it frees you to fully commit to the next point with intensity, clarity, and focus."

@MikeSyl36625988 Also with electronic uploads, you know they got it. Then they can respond via the same way to say we need more or you’re good we don’t need anything else from you
This would free up the lines so that for issues you actually need to call for you can get though
@MikeSyl36625988 They cant, they need to allow more electronic notice response, more electronic correspondence so that stuff that can usually be handled just by sending in a package actually does because it automatically goes into their own data base so any agent around the country can work on it
@MikeSyl36625988 They won’t do it until he’s dead, same thing with Bonds.
They don’t wanna give the guy the glory while he’s still alive, and I think that it is wrong that they’re going about it this way.
@MikeSyl36625988 One thing that our firm does that us staff like, is the option to bank the overtime hours we work to PTO. They get banked the same way OT would normally get paid x1.5 for OT and 2x for dbl time
We do have two busy seasons, but outside of this times people take lots of time off.
It’d be embarrassing to boo Juan Soto considering we traded him and he only said great things about the city of San Diego
Do what you want as a fan but that man played great ball for us when he was here
Looking forward to a great series against a really good Yankees team
@BenHigginsSD Sadly it’s actually the right call by rule. The runner needs to yield to the fielder, just like when a ground ball is hit in front of you. Sucks but yah know
