I remember the time when I gave birth to my daughter. They had to keep me in the hospital for 10 days because I wasn’t feeling well. Every time I tried to stand up, I fainted. At one point, I even stopped breathing, according to my husband. He panicked and called a friend who was a cardiologist. The friend’s response was, “You know, sometimes our wives just want attention because they’re going through a hard time.” My husband got angry and insisted that someone be sent to check on me. When the resident came, my husband simply said, “Just watch.” He helped me stand up, and I don’t remember what happened next. When I regained consciousness, I saw a room full of doctors around me, all in a panic because I had stopped breathing again. That’s when they realized it wasn’t just an “attention-seeking” move.
Why am I telling you this? I’m not sure—maybe because I feel that many women, especially those with chronic and complicated illnesses, have had similar experiences. If you want to share yours, quote this with #MedicalMisogyny.
Is it bad that earlier this year I saw that my dad was starting to go down the rightwing rabbit hole so i login into his youtube account and subscribed him to a bunch of leftwing and liberal channels and unsubcribed him from a bunch of ringwing channels to help him.

1. Population Density in China
@theheraldsun I often thought about her since then trapped in the paddocks and bred constantly for the profit of those who had already made so much. Again this is all “normal” racing industry practice and I could see the stud managers were professionals and she was otherwise well cared for.
@theheraldsun To me it felt like BC, the most adored racing horse in recent history, was basically subjected to being “raped” in order to conceive. Yes this is how horse breeding works everywhere among valuable horses because it’s too dangerous to let mating occur naturally incase of injury.
@theheraldsun When I drilled down into the detail with the main breeder I was shocked. He talked me through how when BC (and all mere broods) was “covered” they had to put a ring in her nostril so if she protested they could yank it and it would be painful and she’d stop…
#thread After reading the tributes and statements about Black Caviar I’d like to speak some plain truths. I was invited to go to the secret location of the stud in the Hunter Valley where she was sent after she retired. This was in 2016 and I knew little about horse breeding..
My cousin who was one of the very few people to help take care of my Nonna finally took a holiday.
In the taxi with her partner and our relatives she's had a massive heart attack.
She's in a coma.
I hate it here.
There’s this random new far right influencer on tiktok who’s going around harassing protestors and spouting a bunch of literal Nazi shit on tiktok who works for the Australian Signals Directorate and his father (or grandfather) was the president of the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia and he lives in a fkn $15.5 million house in toorak - this is all of my least favourite things. Also his family are directors of one of the largest residential property developers in Australia lol.
The government is defunding public housing commitments and replacing them with “affordable housing” - then telling people that they’re not rich enough to afford affordable housing. What a fucking joke. @VictorianLabor
Can someone explain to me how in less than a year after your spouse passing, you can be engaged and getting married?? I’m not talking young either - like 70s. I’ve seen this happen twice now where lifelong partners have gotten married right after and I’m like 😟 how??
