The Colts have lost the following key players this offseason:
- Zaire Franklin
- Kenny Moore II
- Nick Cross
- Michael Pittman Jr.
- Braden Smith
- Kwity Paye
Good players or not, we are talking about 6 starters, including 4 on defense 😮
The NFL makes it official on this year’s opening game — Wednesday, Sept. 9 for the #Seahawks (opponent TBD) and Thursday for #49ers-#Rams in Australia.
Just for fun: A WR1 in the NFL averages around 85 receptions a season.
If you take Alec Pierce’s YPC in each of the last 2 seasons, he would have:
🔹 1,895 yards in 2024
🔹 1,810 yards in 2025
The Colts current CB room consists of the following:
- Sauce Gardner
- Mooney Ward
- Kenny Moore II
- Justin Walley
- Cam Britt-Taylor
- Mekhi Blackmon
- Jaylon Jones
If I had to guess, based on what we saw last season, we may have already seen the last of Jones in Indy…
They way Alec Pierce and Daniel Jones’ contracts are structured with a low cap hit in 2026 tells me the Colts really thought they were signing Trey Hendrickson 😮💨🫠
Chris Ballard said he wanted to make this defense better, faster and younger.
Well, 5 days after free agency and this defense is *checks notes*:
Not better, not faster and who cares if it’s younger
If Lou Anarumo wants a perfect replacement for Nick Cross, they should focus on signing former Bears S Jaquan Brisker.
Pretty solid tackler, plays in the box and has the size for it.
@ZachHicks2 Neck injuries are always concerning, would you feel we could see his last year on the team? Doubt we trade him, Ballard wouldn´t get rid of three leaders in one offseason
