Recently, our students at Booker T. Washington High School participated in mock interviews with professionals across the city. We all know interviewing for a job can be nerve-wracking and anxiety-inducing.

While conditions are improving, many areas, including residential streets, sidewalks, and bus stops remain impassable. All MSCS schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Today, our Administration is cancelling student debt for over 60,000 Americans through fixes to Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
In total, our Administration has now cancelled student debt for over 1 million teachers, servicemembers, firefighters, nurses, and other public service workers.
Thanks to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) updates, people can now apply for PLSF within days versus months.
