@AaronParnas That’s a strange assumption of math.
You assume all 70k Disney employees voted for Desantis yet assume 0% agree with his decision that kids under 9 years old shouldn’t be taught and/or persuaded about sexual orientation by teachers that have very little education in the matter.
@GOP That’s because the majority of people who believe in working hard and earning an honest living also believe in freedom and the rights in the constitution. This is a mindset you gain when you work hard and realize how much is getting taken from you for doing everything correctly.
@LittleBugger4 @tedcruz I understand your point of not being allowed to ask the question and looking for a sound bite…
But don’t you think a judges “opinion” or “political bias” plays out when they vote for politically fueled topics?
Abortion is a good example.
@SenWarren@POTUS Continue to support affordable education in low income areas.
Teach financial management in grade schools.
Fight the increasing ridiculous costs of secondary education.
Free rides and allowing zero consequences (on the backs of tax payers) for decisions made, teaches nothing.
@SenWarren@POTUS Why do women owe 2/3 of the student loan debt?
Why are tax payers liable for their and their parent’s decisions?
For equal opportunity put grants in place for woman and/or minority owned businesses. Who’s to say that forgiving the debts of college kids will make them successful.
@elonmusk I feel that Babylon Bee is a prime example of Twitter not being able to take a joke by banning an account they don’t agree with.
Or a swimmer with crushed dreams, who lost her account due to speaking out because a XX chromosome ‘woman’ was allowed to race XY chromosome women.
So jokes and satire headlines can cross a line to the point of being banned? Wow, where is the freedom of speech? Everyone knows Babylon Bee is fake and meant to be cringe humor just like The Onion. I’m not familiar with the reason, did they get too close to a truth?
Update: Twitter has denied The Babylon Bee's appeal. They wrote, "Our support team has determined that a violation did take place, and therefore we will not overturn our decision."
This is definitely where dollars needs to go but we also need some education reform. Let’s teach necessary skills. What are loans? How to navigate healthcare. Etc.
Let’s also allow for proper disciplinary action to be taken, kids have too much authority causing major disruption.
Manhattan office availability hit a record 17.4% in February, per the WSJ.
I’m waiting for when @amazon transitions a skyscraper into a vertical warehouse for fast delivery of fresh goods and other items.
@RepValDemings Our government is spiraling into debt.
Everywhere is hiring and offers healthcare for full-time work. Let’s start there. Companies are trying to pay people and give them benefits but instead the great workers of our country are being forced to over work.
Send that message out.
@PaulaSmithTC@ProjectLincoln Are you in a densely populated area? Have you ever considered more of a private sector role? HR pays very well depending on the company.
I have lived through paying childcare while living on low wages and know it’s not easy.
@PaulaSmithTC@ProjectLincoln I’m certainly not attacking you in any way, merely explaining my previous post.
That is definitely a shame that your education and skill set are lost in the appreciation of need and wage disparity. I personally appreciate what you do.
