Fifty-five years ago, on September 4th, 1971, a routine government mapping expedition accidentally captured a photograph of a #UFO from 10,000 ft in the sky.
A 1971 government photograph. A metallic disc over Lake Cote, Costa Rica. 55 years unexplained.
@lesliekean called it solid evidence.

Is the Côte Photo the best official UFO image ever captured?
I sat down with the filmmakers behind the gripping new documentary to break down the case and the story behind the lens.

Folks, @MarioWoods has been taken seriously ill with leukaemia , he has been on many shows and I would hope folks who have appreciated his testimony can dig in to help out.
"It's time for me to start telling my stories. To start sharing." Sergio Loaiza took the Cote photo on September 4, 1971, as a government cartographer over Lake Cote.
He has held that silence for 55 years.
The photograph is free to download. The story is just beginning.

The same event can feel frightening to one person and spiritual to another.
The Cote Photo goes beyond the single frame and sits with the people it stayed with: https://t.co/50bdg3YAhv
The Cote Photo asks the questions we're afraid to say out loud.
Are we alone? What happens when we die?

Most #UAP photos are taken from the ground, looking up. This one was taken from above.
An official government photograph, dated and archived, with the cartographer who captured it now sharing what happened that day.

We explore the government mapping flight that captured it, the investigations by Richard Haines and Jacques Vallée, and the high-resolution drum scan that brought it renewed attention.
We also discuss the attempts to explain it away, Costa Rica’s openness in making the photographic evidence available, and the remarkable personal experiences of the people featured in the film.
In 1999, France's generals and admirals published the COMETA Report. The Cote Photo was on its cover.
Their conclusion: the extraterrestrial hypothesis was the most likely answer.
The documentary is the story of the photograph, the people connected to it, and what it has meant to every person who has encountered it over 55 years.
Rent it for $4.99, own it for $14.99, or get the film plus bonus content for $19.99. No subscription required. https://t.co/cI79VX0LN0
In 1971, a Costa Rican government mapping aircraft photographed Lake Côte from 10,000 feet—one frame, Frame 300, captured something that should not be there. Decades later, that image has been studied repeatedly, rescanned at 10900 dpi, and still remains unexplained. with @TheCotePhoto

DISCLOSURE SPEECH???
UAP disclosure could become a black swan event if not managed properly, as I explain in my TEDx Talk here. These are the opening words I would suggest to President Trump on the subject, as changing the public’s perspective is essential before releasing all the information:
“I have been briefed extensively on the UAP phenomenon. Based on the information available to me and the work of our scientific and national security teams, we are considering the very high possibility that some of these phenomena may involve non-human intelligence.
We do not have all the answers. Our government continues to study this matter rigorously, scientifically, and with an open mind. But I want to make one thing clear: ridicule and stigma will not be the policy of this Administration. This is a serious subject deserving serious inquiry.
The American people deserve the truth and we will pursue it wherever the evidence leads.”

Decades later, a high-resolution drum scan brought the photo back into the spotlight.
In our latest episode, I’m joined by investigator Esteban Carranza & filmmaker Adam Pillon @TheCotePhoto to explore:
• The original government mapping flight.
• Early investigations by Richard Haines & Jacques Vallée.
• Debunking attempts & Costa Rica's open evidence sharing.
• Personal stories behind the film.

Jude from Deep Spice hosted Adam and Megan for a live conversation about The Cote Photo, synchronicity, and what the documentary means in the broader disclosure landscape.
Megan went to Costa Rica to visit her friend Kelly. Kelly showed her a photo on her wall and told her about seeing a disc over Arenal Volcano. Megan came home and told Adam, "We should make a documentary about this."
From there, things clicked. They found Michael Strickland, the drum scan technician. He connected them to Esteban. Esteban connected them to Sergio Loaiza, the cartographer who was on the plane. Megan and Sergio became best friends over text, despite not sharing a language.
"We came into it saying we're not going to make anyone look stupid. We want to show everyone in a really good light. We didn't have a script. We wanted them to tell the story that they wanted to tell."
Costa Rica became a character in the film. The biodiversity, the volcanoes, the energy of the place. The local tribes regard Lake Cote as a place where the gods lived. There are oral traditions of things coming in and out of the lake for hundreds of years.
Adam: "I've been seeing a lot of people who did have positive experiences with it. They came to help them in a time of need when they had medical issues, or they needed some guidance in life."
