@NordVPN is a fucking scam. I paid for a 1 mo trial version & it auto renewed despite never saying so on their website. You also can’t cancel your subscription on the website via your account page like every other website. Just stole a monthly pymt from me & refusing to refund me
@SeanFennessey@TheBigPic Including Barbie Ferreira, just because she’s going to be in a couple of indie horror movies, and Miles Caton, who was in one movie a year ago (albeit excellent in it) w/o anything else lined up is certainly a choice.
Just watched Twinless thanks to the recommendation of @jowrotethis from her appearance on @TheBigPic, and I can’t thank her enough for it. It was excellent, and Dylan O’Brien was incredible in it.
What the fuck @vulture ?! Your Telematrix is on the fritz. Wouldn’t accept “Waco: The Aftermath” for Taylor Kitsch/Title contains “The” or “The Good Lord Bird” for Steve Zahn/Double Letter in Title when both are clearly correct and acceptable responses
@TheFilmVault After general high praise, I finally saw Black Bag. I absolutely loved it! It’s a low bar, but it’s easily my favorite film of 2025. I loved classic Soderbergh sleekness and the tight, unraveling mystery of the plot worked for me. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
@immaculategrid Why does Jim Thome not work for the Orioles/played 1B square when, according to your own website, he played first base four times in April during his season with the O’s?
@TheFilmVault@BaldBryan I saw Wicked. This isn’t a film made for Anderson, Bryan, or Avery, but it’s objectively good. It’s okay that y’all don’t see it, but it hits the perfect registers (pun intended) for its target audience, like my wife, who absolutely loved it. An excellent adaptation of a Broadway
@TheFilmVault@BaldBryan I saw Emilia Perez, and it was *in Avery voice* very much NOT tiiiight. The fact that Netflix is going to campaign this film to like 10 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, is quite the embarrassment to the entire Academy process. It’s a musical with bad music. It sucks.
@TheFilmVault I saw Nyad. I really enjoyed it. It has so many elements of a stereotypical Disney Inspirational Story that’s elevated thanks to the performances of its two leads- Annette Bening and Jodie Foster.
@TheFilmVault Caught up with the 2023 Dungeons and Dragons movie on Paramount+. Really enjoyed it. Thought it was an enjoyable big budget adventure flick that was really helped by casting Chris Pine as the lead. Could do a whole lot worse.
