Can we just ban horror movies from doing screechy stretchy-mouthed monsters for a while? It always feels like a cheap "fix it in post" option. Oh, dang, you know what... this isn't that scary... maybe, we could stretch their mouth really big?
James Cameron cinematic universe... The underwater Abyss aliens team up with Avatar people to fight the Terminators... Also, Jack didn't die in Titanic, the Abyss Aliens saved him.... now, just have to figure out how to bring in those flying Piranha from Piranha II: The Spawning.
I've been waiting my whole life for this...
Charles Bernstein's score for Mark Jones' Rumpelstiltskin... How do you write music for a film about a newly resurrected demonic elf riding a motorcycle? This is how...

I just noticed there's a joke in Scream 3 that predicted the killer's motivation in #Scream 5... "Probably some psycho fan pissed off they killed Randy in Stab 2" ... disturbing how it plays as a joke in 2000, and a believable motivation for murder in 2022.
So many strong opinions/thoughts being shared about #HalloweenEnds2022 The fact that there's actually stuff to think about in a sequel to a 40 year old franchise, well, that's a big win in my book. It took guts to do what they did. Loved it!
You know what? Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering actually has some pretty great moments. Also, it stars Naomi Watts and Karen Black (so, if you're ever stuck playing 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, you know have a great link between movie star and cult actors)
FANGORIA chats with LEPRECHAUN writer / director Mark Jones for the 25th anniversary of his other fairy tale horror flick - 1995's RUMPELSTILTSKIN! By @john_campopiano.

I've only seen the 1st episode but SYFY's Astrid & Lilly Save the World is a blast. The kind of breezy, campy, let's-get-right-to-the-fun-stuff horror we always need more of, with practical monsters & surprising emotional depth. Jana Morrison & Samantha Aucoin are great together.
I have thoughts on #Scream 5, mostly that I really miss Craven, and made me appreciate the incredible narrative tightrope balancing act that Scream 4 achieved.
If Dwight and the Knights MC didn't take the deal the Royal City Riders were offering, he had only had one choice: to be forced into retirement like I was. But that wouldn't be enough for Chris. Dwight would have to die.
