Sad news that Jack Leach is out of the Ashes with a stress fracture. Awful for him. But also desperately disappointing for England. Lot of work gone into his development. Was set to be key player. Tough to replace. Maybe another seamer?

This is the chance for people aged 12-25 with disabilities to play weekly cricket at @WiganYouthZone.

There is a new Chance to Shine Street cricket session in Old Trafford starting on the 4th of October!

The sessions are for FREE and are for participants aged between 16 and 24.

🏏 | The 2022 Lancashire Knockout Cup Final will take place on Sunday the 11th of September & will be streamed live on LancsTV.

👊 | The final, which will begin at 11:00am, will see Longridge CC & defending Champions Ormskirk CC battle it out at Emirates Old Trafford.

Congrats to @lancscricket for making the quarter final at @BlackpoolCC on Friday free for members & £12 for non-members is not too shabby either. The winners will play Sussex away next Tuesday which was a scenario we worried about when the Club scheduled their now cancelled SGM

Play resumes at 11am on Wednesday at The UCG with Lancashire U18s 99/1 having bowled Cheshire Academy out for 368.

Our food and drink kiosk will be open for tea, coffee, snacks and alcohol and we will be firing up the BBQ.

I've organised a cricket match in memory of my Mum next Thursday 23 at 4pm, at Long Marston CC in Bucks, but the rail strike means we're an entire team short of players. This is an SOS for anyone of any ability who fancies a fun T20 knockabout followed by a free BBQ!
